The Mary Alex Dress is a spinoff of a piece Lucy designed as a bridesmaid dress for her sister's wedding. The goal of this silhouette was to be extremely universal but endlessly sophisticated, allowing women to wear the dresses time and time again. Because it was such a hit, we decided to introduce it with a more casual cotton poplin, making it a summertime staple.
Crafted in our best-selling Liberty Primrose Pink motif, this square neck, sleeveless, ankle-length dress features a fitted bodice with a V-back and two front and back princess seams for the perfect fit. The skirt has a gathered waistline, a back slit, and side seam pockets for everyday ease. Dress it up with heels and a clutch for a spring cocktail event, or wear it barefoot on the beach for a sunset walk.
